Intro

Renée-Claire likes to describe herself as a student, daydreamer, full-time nut and occasional wall-flower. Besides, ‘herself,’ it seems to be the only tag that fits.

Over the years, she has fulfilled many roles as a phone-monkey, pianist, music-teacher, space designer and poet. Fascinated by interiors, she spends much of her spare time on private projects dreaming up ways to balance beauty with functionality. The rest is largely devoted to her life as an early-childhood educator which keeps her knee-deep in fun and frivolity.

She loves life, people, art, artists and the quirky little things that distinguish individual items and people from each other. Music is her greatest love - a passionate mistress she’s harboured practically from birth. Books and vibrant colour are a close second.

Her friends have described her as a mystery maze of contradictions, fruity, fun and surprisingly intense. Enamoured with the art of words, her grammar-nazi tendancies occasionally surface to confound and infuriate those that do not know her. She apologises profusely and promises that any mention of cheesecake will, most generally, shut her up.

Not the baked stuff, however, but cheesecake. Mmm…
